Biography

Sal Tinajero is an IT Executive for Gemini Food Corporation., an importer of Asian foods and US distributor based in California. He has been working on the Information Technology field for over 25 years with 18 years in Management. His previous employment was at Balda C. Brewer, Inc., an injection molding company, catering to the pharmaceutical market. There he managed a group of 20 team members with different subdivisions. We supported different sites globally. 3 sites in the US, 1 in Mexico and 1 in Brazil. He was responsible for designing and bringing new cutting age technologies to the industry. With the help of his team he supported all employees in the Americas.

At his current position, he was hired to bring the technology up to date and to look into ways to introduce warehouse automation. The facilities have been able to improve efficiency and reduce downtime by introducing technology. He redefine the way security was handled. What was an inviting door for hackers, is now a fortress with more focus on the business. He lead the management team in a new ERP replacement selection, which eventually was acquired and implemented successfully.
